This summer, the Media Department had the pleasure of celebrating a very special milestone as our graduating students came together for their graduation ceremony at Swansea Arena.
On a beautiful, sunny summer day, the arena was filled with excitement and celebration as students, staff, friends and family gathered to mark the culmination of their time at university. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the hard work, creativity and dedication of our graduating cohort, and to celebrate everything they have achieved during their time with us.
For the Media Department, graduation is always a proud moment. Watching our students progress from their first days at university to confident graduates ready to take their next steps is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. We are incredibly proud of this cohort and all they have contributed to our department and wider university community.
Alongside the main graduation celebrations, the department also held a special awards presentation, recognising students for their outstanding engagement, performance and contribution throughout their studies. These awards provided an opportunity to highlight some of the achievements that may not always be captured by a final grade, while celebrating the enthusiasm, commitment and individuality that our students have brought to the Media Department.
We would like to congratulate all of our graduating students and thank them for being part of our community. We wish them every success, happiness and creativity in the future and hope they will always look back on their time with us with pride.
